For lovers of real ale this tour will appeal to local residents as well as visitors travelling to our region. It provides an ideal opportunity to visit some beautiful locations, have a drink [without worrying about the driving], learn a bit about how the beer is brewed and finish off with a bar meal in the evening.

The day starts at about 2.00pm and runs to about 10.00pm and offers a truly relaxing approach to a much-needed free day after a strenuous day on the fells. Times are flexible and should you wish to extend the evening to closing time - no problem.

There’s only one rule book on this trip - be polite and courteous to the driver, don’t get too inebriated and make sure you can get in and out of the vehicle without undue assistance!

Tour Options

Visits to alternative real ale pubs on the general travel route are optional at the discretion of the driver and are usually acceptable provided these do not adversely affect the overall itinerary. Party size: Minimum 6 / Maximum 8

Tour Notes

Groups can also put together their own itinerary choosing individual pubs that they wish to include on the tour. In this instance we will provide transport only excluding evening meal.
